As we settle into fall, I assume most people are cozying up their homes, and starting to think about holiday plans. Me, however, I'm working on how to maintain my business network and social connections once the roads start icing up and the calendar gets packed. Then along comes Twitter to save the day!
Good morning from Georgia.
I am new to the club and I am so excited to be part of this extraordinary group of women. I am what I like to call a “mature woman of age” (which simply means, I’m old ) but if I have to tell my exact age…
In my kids' younger days I used to get so frustrated that they would spend hours on end just watching YouTube. I'll admit now that they were so far ahead of the game in visual media than I ever was, but back then I just couldn't understand how what I thought was just a bunch of music videos and gamer live plays could hold their attention so raptly. Now as an official member of the cable-cord-cutting digital revolution I'm tempted to take back every negative thing I have ever said about the time they spent on the platform, as YouTube is now a major part of my everyday life.
Hello beautiful ladies!
Today I am going to talk a little about the horrors of taking medication. Not just one or two pills, not just once a day or every so often. But a total of 20+ pills two times a day, every day of the week. And this does not include vitamins, pain pills, and anxiety pills.
My journey living with a silent illness.
Good morning to all of you amazing ladies!
I just wanted to briefly tell you a little about myself and why I am here. Some of you know me personally and some of you only know me online. I would love to get to know every one of you amazing ladies. And I believe that you ALL are amazing in your own way or else we would not be here together. Someone thought of us and believes in us as women. As Legendary Women.
I know, I know... how very terribly typically gender stereotyping of me to assume that in a women's club articles about groceries would be par for the course, but listen; If I were writing for any publication that suited the grocery-getting audience of all genders then that would be the ideal place for me to share this. However, my other publications are all about marketing, pop culture, rock and roll, and country music. Those audiences could give two shakes of a banjo about how I stock a pantry or get serious money back on my hunting and gathering WITHOUT clipping a single coupon. And I can't keep it to myself. That's just rude. So here goes:
We all have the same 24 hours in the day, and yet some of us sit back in awe and wonder at the incredible feats of productivity our colleagues accomplish. For those of us in the digital marketing space, running multiple social accounts, building email newsletters, consuming content like potato chips and turning it into educational casserole topping... it's a full time job. I'm here to tell you that you have a virtual personal assistant right at your fingertips and you didn't even know it!
I don't often get emotional over a meme shared by the many inspirational pages I follow, but today the Wild Woman Sisterhood caught me off guard. I needed to see this today, so I thought maybe you ladies did too...
When I look at the list of businesses, foundations, and passion projects in the links list on our site I am absolutely amazed at all of the wonderful things our tribe of Legendary Women accomplish on an everyday basis. But there are some of you who aren't on the list yet. Some who have legendary ideas but just don't know where to begin.
